COUNT DOWN TO GARDEN AND HOME PACKING UP FOR MOVE NEXT WEEKEND

PART 3

Well tomorrow we move our garden items some still need to be taken down as without help of others I just cannot do it I have had to rest today as I hurt my ankle on Thursday did try and do some work this morning but the pain was so much I had to just give in to the pain let’s hope I can do much more with the help of others in the morning.

Well we managed two trailer loads of moving our garden stuff we still have some other things like the green house to take down and potting shed

I started packing some of our clothes and putting in to plastic bags empty two ends of my side board are empty now just the middle to do now.

I took an afternoon of yesterday Thursday to visit the Ashill and Holme Hale Garden Club that is held in the pavilion down the road from my home once moved it was very nice indeed and very friendly we had a lovely slide show of hardy geraniums by Tim Fuller  I did not buy anything this time round and for the display table took my pineapple top which will be planted soon once moved this weekend

well I taken the log feeder down my black current and my peach tree so far and it post and now come in as my whole body is shaking never had that happen to me before when gardening normal having cold drink as well only plum pear and cherry bush and butterfly bush x2

I added two more pots now

I had to have a complete day of rest today after going shaky 14/11/2014 yesterday

Monday 17 of November 2014

I dug up my butterfly bush, small garden rose in back garden and gooseberry bush and the  but frushia mange to snap the top of but it was a massive bush so put rooting stuff on the end and planted into a pot and also the end with all the roots into another pot  so hopefully that one will recover

The good thing is now we can see our wires for my cams so it will make it easy for David when he comes to take them out

After lunch I man handled my round compost bin with compost in to the collecting area for things to go to new home and I be turning that into my kitchen waste bin once we moved

I moved my 8 round compost bins as well and some other plants and bagged up some of my small pots

Well I managed to emptied my wild bird shed ready for dismantling the prep work for moving is upsetting my Bess plus the farm are working on making a soak away for the water to stop it flooding the roads so extra noise as well my fav nest box fell down the red chalet but we will still be able to mend it and put it back up for the next spring

I still have my woodpecker next box to take down and that will be down on Saturday if I have not been brave to try myself and my other nesting Martials thing to come down

Moved my washing line pole that keeps my washing line up in the air and David took the side feeder down

Update two rose up out front garden apart from tables greenhouse empty waiting to be taken down on Saturday as I am not allowed even try just got potting shed wood pecker nest box to come down along with bug hotel and Dovecote so hopeful all plants will be down by Friday night as it only little me doing it all

Having rest before going and doing some more

I managed to hurt my ankle yesterday so it quite painful walked into the bottom half of my whirly gig washing line  what with the long grass since our mower still has not got mended as yet

Count down to packing up the garden

Well the bird feeders have been taken down apart from my side feeder with cam and nest box with cam

I been advised to wrap my fruit trees completely up top and bottom which I did not do last time

When I moved my mothering law is saying all the front garden plants must come with us

Which means six roses and a fuchsia but I do have a bigger front garden when I move next month

rose border

This side and a narrow one on the other side

So I am think I might put the roses along here  I have china lady Yellow ,iceberg white and Handel  pinkish one  plus a red one I cannot Rember its name at present and on the square slab you see I might put my big bird table there.

There is a water feature in the front just needs a hose pipe to get working again I think and not sure what I am going to plant here as yet  so as the saying goes  watch this space

narrow side

My body clock has made me have to slow down days for some reason managed to do 3 more boxes so for today Wednesday 12 of November 2014

Using washing lines pegs help me mark the rose for the colour of each of my roses as I prune my rose hard to give the roots the help their need after moving hence they been planted in the ground for 20 years up until I dig them up by the 22 nd when we move the garden plants the week before the house items
