The sky is blue
It’s a lovely day
What’s on the horizon
Freedom.
Being able to hop on our bikes for a pleasant local day out is a great joy.
The only energy expended is our own muscle power.
The only sound apart from the road in the long distance is bird song.
We can ride for five minutes to arrive in a nature reserve area.
The bike has priority and the space is wide open.
Taking time to enjoy an experience is one environmental choice that I want to be better at finding time for.
It’s zero waste, zero cost and high return.
These highland cows appear to agree as they take a paddle!
The bird watching reserve merits a separate post but it’s a great place to visit too.
It’s possible to cycle for a good hour and a half away from the hustle and bustle round this…
